I get it, it is much too hot to even think about ‘fall trends’. The thought of long sleeves and sweaters makes me want to stand in a refrigerator but the fashion world works on it’s own time so sorry nature you have no say here!
Even though right now is much too soon to start wearing fall fashions it is time to start getting on trend and filling your closet one piece at a time to have a full fall wardrobe should it decide to cool down at all. Here are my top 3 favorite fall trends.
Thigh High Boots – If there is one thing I look forward to it is a time to wear a great pair of leather boots. This season thigh high boots were spotted in several designer collections. Unfortunately, your average woman is not 80% legs so I suggest you opt for a knee high or a boot that hits mid calf to rock this trend!

Heavy Knits – One trend that I am loving this fall is mixing heavy knits with formal wear. The contrast in fabrics really offers a unique look. It is warm and cozy but by pairing a knit sweater with a silk skirt it is still very fashionable and on trend. Try wearing your knit sweaters with your silk skirt or trouser pants.

Shades of Red – When it comes to color pallets for fall many designers tend to use more natural, subtle colors that evoke a sense of comfort and romance. However, a lot of designers are turning up the color this fall by using radiant shades of red and orange. Do not be afraid to transition some of your vibrant summer colors and clothes into the fall. If they are sleeveless or short sleeve, layering is a great way to incorporate color and lush fabrics.
