About Your Editor: Vanessa Fernandez

Vanessa Fernandez is the writer and creator of My Everyday Couture. Vanessa has many years in the fashion industry working in several different areas such as fashion styling, retail, writing on fashion and hosting. She has 12 years of writing experience heading her first blog “The Designer Dish” in 2008. She was later published in 2009 with her feature story “Recessionista: Life on The Fashion Front” in SA Pulse Magazine. She has since worked as a fashion editor for Ultra Magazine and serves as a fashion contributor to The Alamo City Times. Vanessa also has a range of fashion services, Evolv, and works as a fashion stylist, image consultant and fashion show producer. Public Relation student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Vanessa hopes to take her love for the people and combine it with her passion for fashion.
